Thorzul July Group Break
He runs a great break. Here are cards he's pulled for me in the past:

Nachos Grande May Group Break
2002 Albert Pujols Clubhouse Exclusive Dual Relic – The odds of pulling this type of card are 1 in 2073 packs. The odds of getting this Pujols card must be crazy!
If that weren’t enough, the box also had this Jim Edmonds Born In The USA jersey card.
There were also three gold cards. These are thicker than the regular cards and have gold lettering. (Dad – The third card was J. D. Drew. Drew wore the Birds on the Bat but he was never a Cardinal. The best thing he ever did for us was play lousy enough to be traded for Adam Wainwright. I’ve decided to impose a J. D. Drew quota on this blog. Maximum of one J. D. Drew card per year. Scroll down for 2011’s card.)
Nachos also opened three other boxes. These are my first 2000 Topps Tek cards.
1999 Upper Deck HoloGrFX
1999 Fleer Mystique. The Drew is a Rookie card numbered 1552 of 2999.

Thorzul May Group Break Results & June Reminder
Hi guys. Just a reminder that Thorzul still has a few spots open in his June Group Break. We've been doing his breaks for awhile now including last month. Here's some of our loot from his May group breaks.
First - Cards from the Cheapo Group Break. We had the Cardinals and Yankees. The Yankees are up for trade. A Luddwick Finest Refractor, two Ankiel's, and nice looking Matt Morris insert.
Two numbered Giambi’s
And now the May Group Break. We had the Cardinals and Twins.
2005 National Pastime Pujols numbered 1 /2001 and base card.
And a Kent Hrbek Sweet Spot Jersey card that’s headed to David over at http://mmmrhubarb.wordpress.com/

Thorzul’s March Group Break
Diamond Kings Jim Edmonds regular card and brown card.
Diamond Kings Lou Brock insert.
And finally, the best Cardinal of the break. I wish he could have pulled the gold Sabathia for himself but I really like this gold Pujols numbered 34 of 50.
Dad – Isaac has been begging me to help him do a group break. I really like Thorzul’s Pick ‘em Plus One format (I need to trademark that) but am hesitant to make the plunge b/c of time and $$$ concerns. I’m more worried about the time really, as I *think* the cost may actually be lower as we’re usually just interested in the Cardinals out of the boxes we open --- so even just a few people signing up is better than eating the entire cost. So – how much time and effort are we talking about? Thoughts and input appreciated.

Jawdy’s 2008 Heroes Break
I decided to treat Isaac to a slot on Jawdy’s January 2008 Upper Deck Heroes case break to see if we couldn’t get lucky and get the Cardinals randomly. At the very least, I hoped he’d get a decent team for cards to trade for Cardinals. We didn’t get the Cards but I thought we’d did pretty well pulling the Mets. I was wrong. We got five numbered parallels and two shared hits. The good news is that we shared one hit, a Carlton / Santana parallel, with Dave at Fielder’s Choice and the other, a Jeter / Reyes dual relic, with Ernest at Blue Heaven. I gotta say that he REALLY cleaned up having both the Yankees and Red Sox in the break.
Dave was nice enough to let us have the Carlton as part of an ongoing trade while Ernest let Isaac keep the Jeter in exchange for some modern Dodger cards. In addition, we worked out a mass Dodgers – Cardinals trade that Isaac was thrilled with, more on that later.
Here are the non-base cards from the break. If any Mets fans are interested in these or any Mets base cards from this set let us know and we’ll work something out.
Thanks again to Jawdy, Dave & Ernest for making this break and resulting trades so enjoyable for the little guy.
